My Impossible List

So I have recently watched a video by Thomas Frank on Youtube titled “The Impossible list.” Before this video, my idea of getting my goals accomplished was a one and done job. Once completed I would move on to the next one, but now I know this isn’t the life I want to lead. Simply checking things off my list, unable to actually reach its limits, just scratching the surface.

The Impossible List wasn’t created by Thomas Frank ( You can find him on CollegeGeekInfo.com) but much rather Joel Runyon from Impossiblehq.com as stated on Joel Runyon’s blog:

” The impossible list™ is NOT a bucket list. Not too long ago, I used to settle for the possible things in life. The sure thing. It was “realistic”, “safe” and boring as hell. I decided I needed a challenge. “

The Impossible list is a list of things that are achievable, they are in fact not impossible at all, all it takes is a little dedication. You list the things that are at arms length, yours for the taking. And once you have it in your hold reach a little further for the next. For example, one of your goals is to run 5k and instead of just crossing that off your list once you have achieved it you aim a bit higher and replace that goal with running that 5k in less than 25 mins.

With it being the first week of the new year I thought it would be a good idea to make my own Impossible list. My list will be divided into three sections Knowledge/Productivity, Health, and Organization.

Knowledge/Productivity:

  • Learn the basics of coding/web design.
  • Learn the basics of French.
  • Read 50 books.
  • Write a draft of an Art History thesis paper
  • Publish a story on Wattpad.
  • Keep up with my Bullet Journal.

Health:

  • Work out an hour a day.
  • Drink 6 bottles of water daily
  • Lose 30 lb

I do have set goals that I don’t think I would have to increase the time spent or effort put into once completed such as me being able to create a well-organized planning system and sticking to it or losing 30 lbs. But this list may get longer as days turn into weeks and I watch my interest in certain things grow.

I hope this goal tracker helps you all and I wish nothing but the best for you all in these months to come. Clear skin, good grades, lasting memories and the avoidance of everything purely negative.
